Easy Divers and the Hurghada Marine Life Course
30th August – 5th September 2003

Easy Divers is pleased to be hosting this one week identification and conservation course, with Chris Wood of UK’s Marine Conservation Society (MCC).

The week will involve a mixture of reef life ecology and identification talks, shore dives on the house reef outside the dive centre, and some day boat diving. There will be a total of 13 dives, including a night dive. The week is aimed at divers with little prior experience of coral reef life and aims to be both informal and informative, as well as giving the opportunity to practice some marine survey techniques.

The week will be led by MCS’s Chris Wood who has dived in Hurghada many times and has led all of the MCS monitoring surveys in the area.

Please e-mail Easy Divers for more information at [email protected]

Culture in Hurghada

A slice of culture came to Hurghada on Friday 8th August in the form of The Bolschoi
Junior Ballet Dance School, Moscow and the Dance School Sabirova, Hurghada. The very talented boys and girls from both these dance schools put on an amazing display of dances varying from ballet to jazz and from classical to modern. If you did not have the pleasure of
seeing the performance the first time round, or if you want to see it again, another performance is taking place on Friday 15th August at 8.30pm at the Villa Kunterbunt, Bordiehn´s Restaurant. Please contact 012 325 1599 or 010 545 9991 for more information.

Acrobatics for Juniors

The Dance School Sabirova, Hurghada, located on the top floor of the Kotta Center (opposite the Marlin Inn Hotel) has now started junior acrobatics for children aged 2½ years old and above. Classes take place every Sunday at 7.00pm. Take them along to run, jump and rolly-polly off all that energy!
